report

In February, the City launched an online direct reporting tool that gives residents the opportunity to report any non-emergency related concerns or issues 24 hours a day, seven days per week.

“Residents are our eyes and ears in San Marcos,” said City Manager Jack Griffin. “If you see a pothole, a street light out, graffiti or just have a general concern, the City wants to know about it so we can continue improving the quality of life in our community.”

Through the online reporting portal, residents can submit service requests and provide information on neighborhood issues by clicking the “Report a Concern” icon on the city’s website, www.san-marcos.net. Submissions can include the location of the problem, detailed information and even a photo.

Once a report is submitted online, it is routed to the appropriate city department for resolution. Email alerts with status updates will then be delivered to inform the concerned resident of case progress.

To report your concern, please visit www.san-marcos.net/reportaconcern. For live assistance, please call (760) 744-1050 Monday through Friday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm. City Hall is closed alternating Fridays.
