Traffic Commission Meeting: Wednesday, February 6th

As many residents may already be aware, there are regular car accidents on San Elijo Road near Eclipse Drive.  Accidents have resulted in significant damage to landscaping and utilities.  There have been thousands of dollars in damages to the HOA over the years.  On at least two occasions, the power was knocked out to many residents in the area.  In addition to the damage and impact to the immediate area, residents are most concerned with the potential threat to pedestrians who may be walking in the sidewalks and trails along San Elijo Road.

The City of San Marcos Traffic Commission has finally agreed to review this issue during its February 6 meeting. If this is a topic of concern to you or your neighbors, you are encouraged to attend the meeting so that the Traffic Commission understands the impact and concern of the residents.  The meeting will be held at the Council Chambers at City Hall at 6:00 p.m.
