Fire prevention campaign started

The City of San Marcos Fire Department is participating in a “Before the Threat” fire prevention campaign. If you would like to receive a free packet including a DVD and multiple educational fire prevention brochures, please visit your local fire station and City Hall (addresses below).

This disaster preparedness, response, evacuation and recovery information will help you, your family and your community during the next significant disaster. We must all be prepared – government and citizens alike – in the event we experience a disaster like a fire storm, earthquake, flood or terrorist attack.

You may pick up a packet at one of these following locations:

City Hall – 1 Civic Center Drive

Fire Station 1 – 180 W. Mission Road

Fire Station 2 – 1250 Rancho Santa Fe

Fire Station 3 – 404 Woodland Parkway

Fire Station 4 – 204 San Elijo Road

For more information, please read the “Before the Threat” brochure.
