San Elijo Hills celebrates the grand opening of the new neighborhood of Belmont on Saturday, July 28, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.  “Summer Splash” festivities include tours of four new model homes, free all-American barbecue treats, kids’ coloring contest, and prize giveaways. Built by the highly respected homebuilder Lennar, Belmont is the fourth new neighborhood to open in the ocean-view community in the past year.

Belmont features four floor plans that range from 1,459 to 2,072 square feet and are affordably priced from the high $300,000s.  A gated neighborhood of detached homes, Belmont includes a private community pool. The homes feature three or four bedrooms with designer-inspired gourmet kitchens, master suites with deluxe walk-in closets, convenient upstairs laundry rooms, and an array of energy-saving features.  Each plan has an attached two-bay garage and plenty of space for gracious outdoor living.

Belmont joins three other new San Elijo Hills neighborhoods that are offering a total of 12 single-family floor plans, priced from the high $500,000s to the $700,000s.  There is also one three-story condominium with a retail storefront available at MarketWalk in the San Elijo Hills Towncenter for $725,000.

“Buyers appreciate the wide variety of homes for singles, couples and families and the fact that San Elijo Hills offers low taxes on single family homes,” said Richardson.

Single-family homes at Bella Vista by Ryland Homes opened last month.  These large, elegant homes, ranging from 3,461 to 3,776 square feet, contain five bedrooms and four to 5.5 baths.  Prices start in the $700,000s.

Altaire by D.R. Horton features three beautiful two-story homes ranging from 2,624 to 3,478 square feet with three to six bedrooms and up to four and a-half baths.  Prices start in the mid $600,000s.

Stylish single-family homes are available at Lennar’s Terraza West, a new community with two-story floor plans ranging from 2,513 to 2,726 square feet and priced from the upper $500,000s.

San Elijo Hills is established as a vibrant small town with a lively towncenter that includes a modern Albertson’s grocery store, shops, wine bar and eateries, a 19-acre park and community center, two schools (elementary and middle) and a charming town square. Designed for active people of all ages, the community features 18 miles of hiking/biking trails, extensive equestrian trails, and the 200-acre Double Peak Interpretive Park occupying the 1,631-foot-high Cerro de las Posas summit, one of the highest peaks in coastal North County.

San Elijo Hills is one of the most admired communities in Southern California.  The community was awarded “Master-Planned Community of the Year” honors at The Nationals, an annual competition by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a Gold Nugget Grand Award for best Town Center from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference (PCBC), and the “Best Master-Planned Community” award at MAME, an industry competition that receives 500 entries from throughout Southern California.
