We are very excited to announce our 5th Carnival for Cancer is Saturday, June 2, 2018 -Samantha Kascoutas 10 am to 2 pm at Questhaven park in San Elijo Hills. We will have face painting, a jumpy slide combo, games to win prizes, food including Baked Bear ice cream sandwiches, homemade pulled pork sandwiches, and a bake sale. We will also have an amazing raffle including restaurant gift cards, a family pack to House of Air, and a grand prize of $100 Visa gift card. We’d like to give a special shoutout to our Gold Sponsors Keller Williams Ray Bahadori Group https://www.facebook.com/RayBahadoriGroup/ and Everbowl http://Everbowl.com.
Our story began five years ago with a ten-year-old girl, Samantha Kascoutas, wanting to make a difference through a YMCA leadership program. Since then we have grown bigger and better with the help of the entire family, and the combined effort allowed us to raise over $15,000 in the past five years alone. All of our proceeds go towards cancer research with the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life Carlsbad-Encinitas (team C4C). Our goal is to kick cancer’s butt through raising as much as we possibly can.
There are many ways you can help us reach our goal of raising $7,500. First, you can come support us on June 2nd at Questhaven Park. Second, you can volunteer at the event through signing up with the link on our website. You can also donate online through our C4C Relay for Life Page which is also included on our website. You can get in touch with us through our Instagram @carnivalforcancer, Facebook page Carnival for Cancer, and our website www.carnivalforcancer1.weebly.com.
American Cancer Society Relay For Life of San Marcos
COMMUNITY Fights Back Against Cancer!
Relay For Life is a fun and unique 24-hour event to increase cancer awareness in San Marcos while raising much-needed funds for the American Cancer Society’s programs and services. Teams composed of 1 – 24 people formed by local businesses, community groups and individuals raise funds prior to the event. At the Relay, team members take turns walking or running around a track, relay-style and enjoy fun activities and entertainment off the track.

Funds raised go to the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving research, advocacy, education and free support services.
