Rancho Coronado Park Online Survey

San Marcos City officials have started gathering input from the community for the new Rancho Coronado Park in San Marcos.

The Rancho Coronado Park is planned for 20-acres off Village Drive just southwest of Discovery Lake.

The first of four community workshops planned for residents to weigh-in on what they would like to see at the park was held in March. The remaining workshops will take place in the coming months. San Marcos residents will also be offered an online feedback option for their convenience.

“Our goal is to engage residents early in the planning process so we can truly build the type of park they want,” explained City Engineer Mike Edwards.

Future outreach meetings will include conceptual plans for residents to review.

Construction on the Rancho Coronado Park is expected to begin in early 2016. An opening date will be determined once the final construction plan is developed.
